From 2009 cliviaferero.com will be offering top quality seeds from three fine clivia collections. Up to 2007 seeds were offered from the collections of Tino Ferero and Pikkie Strumpher, both members of the Northern Clivia Club. Tino and Pikkie has now been joined by Pine Pienaar, also of the Northern Clivia Club. Pine has a collection of very select top quality clivias.

For seed production purposes the three collections are treated as one so that each has access to the pollen and plants from all three collections, ensuring that the best possible seed is produced. Click here for our pricelist

OUR APPROACH

It is our goal to produce good quality clivias for the discerning buyer and collector. Our plants have been line bred for quality of colour, size and beauty of the flower, size of umbel and foliage. Pollination is done by hand from select pollen on select parent plants. We realise, however, that the quality of siblings can never be guaranteed, since there are often throw backs to previous generations. OUR TRACK RECORD

Plants from all three collections have won top awards at major clivia shows and photos of some of our plants have been published in the Clivia Year Books which are circulated worldwide to the members of the Clivia Society. Photos can also be seen here on our website.
